How to mix black beard dye
For BEARD APPLICATION FOLLOW THESE BELOW DIRECTIONS!
Wash hair thoroughly but lightly with a toothbrush to remove any dirt/oils
Mixing Pure Henna for 1st step in application:
1. Mix 2 tbsp henna with 1 tbsp warm water (can always add more water if the paste is too thick
2. Paste needs to have the consistency of thick yogurt/pudding.
3. Make sure you wear gloves as the Henna will stain your hands!
4. Apply to hair by using some sort of applicator (teaspoon works great to cake it on).
5. Make sure you get paste on even the longest hair, if it is sticking out it will not get a color change.
6. Rinse the paste out after about 30 minutes to 1 hour, the water needs to run clear. Use an old toothbrush to get any dried paste out of the hair.
7. Move on to step 1 of the Indigo application
Mixing Pure Indigo for 2nd step in application:
1. Mix 2 tbsp indigo with 1 tbsp warm water (can always add more water if the paste is too thick) Apply immediately (thicker is better, do not let indigo paste sit for more than 5 minutes prior to application)
2. Paste needs to have the consistency of thick yogurt
3. Make sure you wear gloves as the Indigo will stain your hands!
4. Apply air by using some sort of applicator (teaspoon works great to cake it on).
5. Make sure you get paste on even the longest hair, if it is sticking out it will not get a color change.
6. Rinse the paste out after about 30 minutes to 1 hour, the water needs to run clear. Use an old toothbrush to get any dried paste out of the hair. (DO NOT USE SHAMPOO OR FACE SCRUBS for 18-24 hours)
